Graded EX 60 by SGC. The T3 Turkey Red is one of Hall of Famer Johnny Evers’ most impressive and classic cards. Being a horizontal pose, Evers is also one of the most distinctive Hall of Famers in the set. This exceptional example of Johnny Evers is in Excellent condition. The image area is flawless, with extremely bright, bold colors, and with just a little even corner wear (a touch more to the upper right). Perfectly bright and clean, both front and back. The checklist reverse is perfectly clean. T3s rarely survive in this high grade, let alone examples of the key stars of the set such as Johnny Evers. This card was saved by an old-time autograph collector who did not collect cards but picked this one up decades ago to display with his cut signature of Johnny Evers. The cut signature unfortunately turned out to be a forgery, but the Turkey Red more than made up for it! This card is a gem. This is a gorgeous T3 Evers example that would be a worthy addition to any high-grade Turkey Red, Hall of Fame, or classic vintage-card collection. The equivalent SMR value is $1,900. Reserve $500.
