Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Highest-graded example! Pack-fresh gem with flawless colors and gloss, bright yellow background, and four razor-sharp corners. Centered very slightly to the right. A quick look at the PSA population report shows that an almost incredible 1,379 examples of this card have been graded to date. Of these, however, only eleven have graded PSA MINT 9, with no PSA 10 examples ever graded. 1954 Topps cards typically suffer from a variety of condition problems, including print defects and a tendency to have soft corners, which make Mint examples particularly difficult to find. This is a world-class card, far exceeding the expectations for 1954 Topps. It would be hard to imagine a finer example. SMR value is $8,750. Reserve $2,000. Estimate $4,000/$8,000+. |
