Graded NM 84 by SGC. Sharp-looking high-grade rookie card of Hall of Fame pitcher Hoyt Wilhelm from the rare 1952 Topps high-number series. The card displays four sharp corners, bright colors, and is very well centered, just a little towards the top left. The reverse is perfectly clean, and centered 10/90 left to right. Wilhelm's rookie card is one of the few Hall of Famers in the popular 1952 Topps high-number series. This is a very attractive and particularly high grade example of Wilhelm's most desirable card from the premier postwar baseball set. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$800. |
