Stunning GEM MINT 1961 Topps "Sporting News" example of Hall of Fame pitcher Whitey Ford from the scarce high number series. As a pitcher, Ford's .690 winning percentage is the second-highest career mark among retired pitchers, and 1961 was another one of his banner years, as he posted a league-leading 25 wins.
