Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. Extremely striking and exceptionally attractive high-grade example of the rare T206 Elberfeld (portrait), Washington. This card has always been recognized as one of the rarities of the T206 White Borders tobacco-card series. The offered example is bright and crisp, with a bold red background, square corners with just the slightest hint of wear visible under magnification, no creases, well centered (slightly to the left), and flawless registration. This is a very strong card, and is far superior to what is normally seen for the rare T206 Elberfeld. Old Mill Cigarettes advertisement on reverse. SMR value for the assigned grade is $2,500. Reserve $800. Estimate $1,500/$2,500. |
