Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Extremely pleasing mid-grade example of the rare O'Hara, St. Louis Americans, T206 variation. Polar Bear was the only company to issue this T206 variation. The packaged cards issued with Polar Bear tobacco were not well protected from the accompanying product, thus almost all rare T206 O'Hara St. Louis examples have at least some tobacco staining. This example has light staining, and several very light horizontal creases through the center. Bright and crisp, with extremely fresh colors. This is a very attractive mid-grade example of one of the key significant (and in our opinion very underrated) rarities from the classic T206 White Border set. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000+.
