Graded NM/MT 88 by SGC. Magnificent ultra high-grade factory-set card featuring Hall of Famer Eddie Collins. Only two examples of this classic card have ever been graded higher by SGC. This is extraordinarily crisp card, perfectly clean front and back, with no stains, four sharp corners, and flawless registration. Centered slightly to the left border (approximately 35/65 L/R) with a very slight tilt to the image. The reverse of the card is also perfectly bright and clean, with crisp, bold black text. This is a very sharp card. It is rare to find any Cracker Jack in such high grade, let alone a high-grade example of Hall of Famer Eddie Collins (which, as a very low-numbered card that gravitates to the top of the stack and therefore tends to be subject to more wear than most cards, is a natural condition rarity). The equivalent SMR value for the assigned grade is $4,000. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000/$3,000. |
