Graded VG/EX 50 by SGC. Exceptionally attractive, bright, and clean example of what many consider to be the most classic of all Joe Jackson cards, and one of the most classic of all vintage baseball cards. This E145 Jackson card has been separated from the original-owner near-set of 1915 Cracker Jacks offered in this auction. This is a tremendous medium-grade card which clearly has a much stronger eye-appeal than suggested by its technically accurate assigned grade. Beautiful bold colors, crisp, perfectly focused image, evenly rounded corners, and centered 40/60 left to right (very slight tilt to the image). Very clean and crisp with no caramel staining. There is an extremely tiny red dot near the left edge on the reverse (of no consequence, possibly a factory printing flaw); the reverse is otherwise perfectly clean with bold black text. This is an extremely desirable grade for this classic card, providing a relatively affordable alternative to a far more expensive super high-grade example, without compromising on all of the most important qualities of the card.
