Graded NM 84 by SGC. Highest graded by SGC! Presented is a magnificent high-grade 1889 N173 Old Judge cabinet card of Brooklyn catcher Joe Visner in a batting stance (pose #475-1). The image on this card is very bold, with strong contrast and tremendous detail. The extraordinary quality of the photograph allows one to see the 45tripes on his pants, the laces on his shirt, and even the laces on his shoes. Perfectly clean on the front and back, with a flawless image. This is an exceptionally high quality example from one of the nineteenth century's most substantial and highly regarded sets.
