Graded PR-FR 1 by PSA. E94 candy card featuring the legendary Honus Wagner in a batting pose set against a gold background (one of the seven different background color variations of the set). Very attractive - and very harshly graded - card with bright, crisp colors, clean front and back, evenly rounded corners, and a very slight diamond cut. The back is also bright and clean, with bold text. In our opinion PSA has been too hard on this card; we consider this card to be in solid Good condition. This is an extremely attractive low-grade example of one of Honus Wagner's most classic cards. This card was sold at REA in 2008 and has been consigned to this auction directly from the buyer at that auction. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500+. |
