Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. Southern Leaguer. T206 example of Persons, Montgomery, with the very scarce Hindu (brown) advertising reverse. Hindu (brown) is a very scarce back, not as rare as red Hindu, but very unusual and extremely rare compared to most other T206 advertising backs. The card is bright and clean, both front and back, with no creases, bold color, four square corners, and a slightly out-of-registry image. Centered slightly towards the bottom left borders. The reverse is perfectly clean with bold brown print against an off-white background. This is a very attractive Southern Leaguer from this highly prized set, with the scarce brown Hindu tobacco advertisement on the reverse. The SMR value for a PSA EX-MT 6 Southern Leaguer (without reference to the Hindu back) is $435. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+. |
