Graded NM 7 by PSA. Crisp high-grade example of this early classic card of Hall of Famer Charles Comiskey issued during his playing days. As first baseman/manager of the St. Louis Browns of the American Association, Comiskey led the Browns to AA League Championships in 1885, 1886, and 1887. It is very rare for any card dating from the 1880s to survive in such a high grade. Bright, crisp, and clean. Only the most minute edge wear visible on the reverse keeps this beauty from receiving a higher grade from PSA. In our opinion this is a solid Nr/Mt-Mt card. Reserve $800. Estimate $1,500/$2,500. |
