Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA, the only example at that level, with none graded higher. Outstanding high-grade N300 Mayo's Cut Plug of Hall of Famer Buck Ewing with Cincinnati. (Ewing was first issued with "Cleveland" on his shirt, which was changed to "Cincinnati" when he joined the Reds for the 1895 season.) This is a very bright and crisp card, with virtually no wear to the condition-sensitive edges and corners. N300s were issued by P. H. Mayo & Brother of Richmond, Virginia. They are rarely found in such sharp condition, let alone an example of a key Hall of Famer such as Buck Ewing. Reserve $2,000. Estimate $4,000/$6,000. |
