Graded FAIR 20 by SGC. Despite the modest grade, this is an extremely attractive example of one of the most classic and sought-after of all Joe Jackson cards. Beautiful bold colors, crisp perfectly focused image, four square corners, and centered 40/60 left to right. The card has no creases but has been downgraded due to a number of shallow indentations (or "dimples") to the thin card, apparently caused long ago by being pressured against a non-flat surface, and a few light stains on the front and reverse. This is a very unusual, rarely offered, and extremely desirable grade for this classic card, providing a relatively affordable alternative to a far more expensive high-grade example without compromising on many of the most important positive visual qualities of the card. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000. |
