Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. High-grade example of what is universally recognized as one of Cobb's most striking cards. The Red Background pose has long been considered one of the great classics in the T206 set. The offered example has a particularly striking portrait, brilliant colors with a strong red background, clean both front and back (one insignificant mark on reverse), centered slightly toward the bottom border, with four square corners displaying just a hint of wear (predominately the lower left corner), and large borders. This is a very sharp-looking high-grade example of one of the key cards from the premier tobacco issue of the 1910 era. Sweet Caporal advertising on reverse. SMR value is $2,650.
