Graded VG/EX 50 by SGC. Outstanding high-grade N300 Mayo's Cut Plug of Hall of Famer Buck Ewing with Cincinnati. Ewing was first issued with "Cleveland" on his shirt, which was changed to "Cincinnati" when he joined the Reds for the 1895 season. This is a very bright and crisp card, with virtually no wear to the condition-sensitive edges and corners, and with just a tiny corner crease in the lower left. A very small chip of paper loss and light glue residue on the reverse is responsible for this card being downgraded from Excellent by SGC. This is an outstanding high-grade example of one of the most important cards in the Mayo set of key Hall of Famer Buck Ewing. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000+. |
