Rare Cassius Clay four-page fold-over boxing program, dated January 24, 1963, from a six-bout card, held at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The main even was a 10-round heavyweight bout between Cassius Clay and Charlie Powell, both of whom are featured on the cover. Clay knocked out Powell in the third round of what was his first of three fights that year. Just over one year later Clay shocked the boxing world by defeating Sonny Liston for the heavyweight title. This is the first example of this program we have ever offered, and we cannot recall having seen another at auction. The program (6.25 x 9.5 inches) displays a few light creases and is in Excellent condition overall.
