Issued by “Cilbert’s” ( a Chicago restaurant), the postcard features a team photo of the 1907 club, with all of the players identified in print along the base. Neither address nor mailed. Gd-Vg, with a small chip in the lower left corner. 4) Blue-tinted real-photo postcard capturing a game-in-progress scene at Chicago’s West Side Grounds. The handwritten notation above the photo reads “Chicago, Ill/Aug, 23 1908/Cubs 2 and Brooklyn 0.” Addressed and mailed (the letter begins on the front and ends on the reverse). Postmarked “Oct 30 1908.” Ex, with pencil notations on the reverse. Total: 4 postcards.
