Collection of eight different key Hall of Famers (out of fifteen) from the T204 Ramly set, each graded and encapsulated GOOD 2 by PSA (except for one GOOD+ 2.5 as noted). One of the most elegantly designed card issues ever produced, T204 Ramlys are noted for the distinctive fancy gold-embossed borders that surround the oval photographic portraits. They are much rarer than most other tobacco-card issues from the 1910 era and are particularly condition sensitive due to their easily chipped gold borders. This collection consists of the following: Chief Bender (GOOD+ 2.5, Philadelphia Athletics), Roger Bresnahan (St. Louis Cardinals), Mordecai Brown (Chicago Cubs), Frank Chance (Chicago Cubs), Johnny Evers (Chicago Cubs), Clark Griffith (Cincinnati Reds), Willie Keeler (New York Highlanders), and Joe Tinker (Chicago Cubs). This is an extremely presentable group of eight Hall of Famers from one of the most classic and visually appealing of all prewar-card issues. The total SMR value for this collection is $3,200. Total: 8 cards. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000+.
