Graded VG 3 (MK) by PSA. E107 Breisch-Williams series card of star outfielder and early home-run champion Buck Freeman of the Boston Red Sox. Freeman was one of the premier power hitters of baseball's dead-ball era. Sharp and crisp, with outstanding picture quality, and even wear to the corners, downgraded from Excellent due to a tiny chip of surface paper loss on the front next to the letter “B” on Freeman’s jersey. PSA has qualified the card for either the tiny stray black mark or the shadow of rubber band marks on the blank reverse (each of no consequence). Scarce sample card from this extremely important set, featuring one of the great home-run hitters of his era, with a far superior appearance than suggested by its technically accurate PSA grade.
