Presented is a rare example of Doc Crandall (portrait, with cap variation) from the classic T206 set with an extremely desirable Uzit advertising reverse. This card is part of an exciting, fresh-to-the-hobby collection consigned to this auction by the family of a Midwestern collector who built his impressive collection over a period of many decades, beginning as a young boy in the 1930s. According to T206Resource.com, Uzit ranks as the sixth most difficult advertising back (out of thirty-nine) to find. Graded FAIR 1.5 by SGC (submitted by REA), the offered example displays several condition issues, including multiple creases and lightly rounded corners. The important Uzit advertising reverse, however, is boldly printed, making this an ideal example for back collectors. A worthy addition to any T206 set or rare-back collection. Reserve $300. Estimate (open).
