Collection of fourteen different cards from the T206 White Borders series, each professionally graded and encapsulated by SGC (submitted by REA). Each card has an uncommon advertising back, one that is not in the same league as Drum or Uzit, but still very unusual and seen far less often than standard Piedmont and Sweet Caporal backs. Featured within this collection are cards with El Principe De Gales, Old Mill, and Sovereign backs. This collection consists of the following: EX 5 (2 cards): Pfeffer (Sovereign) and Smith/Chicago, F. Smith on front (Sovereign). VG/EX+ 4.5 (3 cards): Niles (Sovereign), Stahl/glove shows (El Principe De Gales) and Steinfeldt/with bat (El Principe De Gales). VG/EX 4 (9 cards): Ames/portrait (Sovereign), Berger (Sovereign), Conroy/with bat (El Principe De Gales), DeVore (Sovereign), Donlin/seated (Sovereign), Nicholls/hands on knees (Sovereign), Reulbach/no glove showing (Sovereign), Stanage (Old Mill) and Tannehill/Chicago, L. Tannehill on front (Sovereign). This is a strong and extremely attractive T206 group that is especially noteworthy for their desirable and different advertising backs! The equivalent SMR value in the assigned grades is $1,320 with no premium assigned for the scarcer backs. Total: 14 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+.
