Graded GEM MINT 10 by SGC. Remarkable ultra-high grade example of Hans Lobert (misspelled Loebert on the card, Cincinnati Redlegs) from the T204 Ramly series. This card, was sheet-cut decades ago by legendary hobby pioneer Frank Nagy (pedigreed on the SGC label), who in the 1970s had a pristine T204 Ramly sheet (the only one in existence), and this fact is likely related to the unparalleled perfection of this card. Ramlys are also among the most condition-sensitive sets in existence, with fragile gold borders easily susceptible to chipping. The offered example shows no evidence of any chipping along the borders or at the corners. It is perfectly centered with four sharp corners, a flawlessly clean and crisp image, and a perfect boldly printed reverse. This is an absolutely stunning card in unparalleled GEM MINT condition that would be a significant addition or upgrade to any T204 Ramly or vintage-card collection. Reserve $1,000. Estimate (open).
