Complete original unopened cello box of 1973 Topps baseball containing packs from the fourth series (#397-528). This is the first 1973 cello box that we've ever had the privilege of offering, and it comes with the special provenance of originating directly from the legendary Larry Fritsch Estate. It comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material) and bears his certified designation as having originated from the "Fritsch Vault." This box houses a total of twenty-four cello packs. The 1973 Topps fourth series is highlighted by Hall of Famers Juan Marichal and Willie McCovey as well as the All-Time Leaders series, featuring Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, along with other important stars. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, it is entirely possible that this box includes several MINT and GEM MINT examples of many cards in the set. The box displays beautifully, appearing almost exactly as it did on the store shelves over four decades ago. This is an incredible and extremely rare unopened cello box from this very popular set. Total: 24 packs.  Reserve $10,000. Estimate (open).
