Graded VG 40 by SGC. Outstanding 1887 N172 Old Judge example of John Cahill (#61-2 pose) of Indianapolis. Bright and clean, with light corner wear and a crisp image. Light creasing (mostly visible from the back) accounts for the grade. The blank reverse is mainly clean. This is a very striking mid-grade example from the most important of all nineteenth-century sets. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
