Real-photo postcard capturing 20 members of the 1907 American League Champion Detroit Tigers in a classic team pose. Each player is identified in print along the base by means of a corresponding number that appears upon his image, including Ty Cobb, manager Hughie Jennings, Sam Crawford, George Mullin, and Germany Schaefer. 1907 marked the first of Detroit’s three consecutive American League Championship seasons, all of which ultimately ended with a World Series loss. The postcard, which has not been addressed or mailed, displays light creasing and two small areas of paper loss on the reverse. Graded GOOD+ 2.5 by SGC (submitted by REA).
