Collection of twenty-seven different (plus five duplicates) E90-1 American Caramel cards, highlighted by Hall of Famers Ty Cobb, Addie Joss, Nap Lajoie, and Cy Young. The E90-1 set is the most widely collected of all 1910-era caramel issues. Condition is two Vg-Ex, three Vg, four Gd, ten Fr, and thirteen Pr. We have selected two cards to be graded and encapsulated by SGC. Keys: Baker (Pr), two Bresnahan (VG 3 and Gd), Chance (FAIR 1.5), Cobb (trimmed to the borders, otherwise Pr), two Crawford (Vg and Fr), G. Davis (Pr), Joss/portrait (Pr), Lajoie (Pr-Fr), Wallace (Pr), and C. Young/Boston (Pr, with two corners missing). Also includes the following: Bransfield/"P" on shirt, two Brown/Boston, Bush, Corridon, Donlin, Dygert, Engle, Grant, Gray, three Heitmuller, Leach/batting, Mitchell/New York, Overall, Schaefer, Schlitzer, Sheckard, and Tannehill/Chicago NL. This collection is small but has an impressive concentration of key Hall of Famers. Overall very consistent and reasonably uniform in grade, with many cards having far superior eye-appeal than their technically accurate grades. Total: 32 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate (open).
