Itinerary and roster sheet chronicling the 1913-1914 World Tour made by the New York Giants and Chicago White Sox. This was one of the great world baseball tours, which was inspired by the World Tour of 1888-89, and preceded the famous tours of Japan during the 1930s. Each sheet, which most likely originates from a yearbook or banquet program issued at the conclusion of the tour, has been individually matted and framed. The itinerary lists the date and venue of each game, along with the results, beginning on October 18, 1913, and ending on February 26, 1914. The roster sheet lists the members of each team, including Tris Speaker, Sam Crawford, Buck Weaver, Jim Thorpe, and Urban Faber, as well as the team managers John McGraw and James Callahan, and the umpires. Both sheets (7.75 x 10.5 inches, visible dimensions) displays a horizontal fold and is otherwise in apparent Excellent to Mint condition.
