Presented is an exceptional pair of Michael Jordan game-used sneakers dating to circa 1992. This pair of Nike "Air Jordan VII" sneakers has been authenticated by MEARS in an accompanying full letter of opinion. Each shoe is signed on the outer side-portion of the heel by Michael Jordan in black Sharpie (grading "9"). The size 13 white sneakers, with red and blue accents, feature Jordan's uniform number ("23") as part of the design of each shoe's heel. The sneakers present exceptionally well and display moderate wear overall, predominantly in the form of stress to the leather and light surface marks along the base and sole of the shoes. The Jumpman logo is present on the outside of each shoe as well as on each sole. Both the 1991-1992 and 1992-1993 seasons were incredible ones for Jordan and his Bulls team, winning the second and third of three consecutive NBA Championships. Michael Jordan is universally considered to be one of the greatest - if not the greatest - to ever play the game. His cards and memorabilia have long been considered to be among the most desirable, but recently, they've risen to incredible new heights. Impressive game-used items, such as these shoes, are highly desirable mementos of Jordan's career. This is a superb pair of game-used sneakers dating from the height of Jordan's impressive career. They would be at home in any world-class basketball or Michael Jordan collection. Full LOA from MEARS. Reserve $10,000. Estimate (open).
