Graded GOOD 2 by PSA (submitted by REA). Modestly graded example of Cap Anson from the colorful 1888 N162 Goodwin Champions set. Anson is the key card from this very popular fifty-card set issued by Old Judge and Gypsy Queen Cigarettes. This example is bright and crisp, with vibrant colors and perfect registration. The corners display light, even wear, and the card is centered to the top. Downgraded from Vg-Ex due to a surface scratch in Anson's uniform area and a small chip of paper loss on his neck. The checklist reverse is clean with bold black print. This card presents a great opportunity to acquire an extremely appealing example of one of the most classic of all nineteenth-century baseball cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000+.
