Original 1969 Topps "Fun Packs" uncut final-production sheet of 132 cards, with printed reverses. The sheet is composed of forty-four cards each of "Target: Moon," "Hot Rod," and "Who Am I?" (without the "disguise" coating) Topps reissues. The sheet is highlighted by two examples of card #12 Babe Ruth from the "Who Am I?" set. All cards have salmon-colored reverses, which differ from the original incarnations of the three sets. The conventional hobby wisdom is that these cards were issued exclusively in 1969 Topps "Fun Packs." A poly-bagged bulk product, "Fun Packs" were the standard outlet for Topps' returned and leftover card inventory. The question of why these cards went directly into a discounted bulk product is yet to be satisfactorily answered. Technically, the sheet is in Fair condition due to various condition flaws, including creases, edge tears, and rippling throughout. Despite these flaws, this is still an extremely attractive display sheet and projects an overall outstanding appearance. The key card to the sheet, the cards of Babe Ruth, are virtually unaffected by the condition flaws. Dimensions: approximately 28-1/4 x 43 inches. Please note: This sheet has been stored rolled for many years and will be shipped as such. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot. Reserve $200.
