The 1933 hard-bound edition of Who's Who in Baseball, which features beautiful studio portraits and full-page biographies of every Major League player, has long been hailed as one of the most attractive baseball books ever produced. Autograph collectors in particular took a special liking to the book, for the player pages were ideally suited for acquiring signatures. Offered here is the result from one successful request by an early autograph collector: a signed example of Jimmie Foxx's page from the 1933 Who's Who in Baseball. Foxx has flawlessly signed the page, "Jimmie Foxx," in blue fountain pen on the lower portion of his portrait image, with the signature grading "10." This is the first Jimmie Foxx signed Who's Who page we have ever offered. The page (8.5 x 11 inches) is slightly ripped on the top edge and a blue ink mark is present in the upper right corner. In Good condition overall. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $300.
