Extraordinary real-photo postcard featuring nine members of the Chaska White Diamond (Minnesota) baseball team, circa 1907, including Frank "Billy" Williams. All early baseball photographs are desirable, but those depicting integrated teams from the earliest days of the game when the practice was uncommon are particularly noteworthy. The players are posed outside in front of a brick wall with gloves in hand and equipment scattered on the ground in front of them. The clarity on the photograph is outstanding, and the entire piece is in Very Good condition overall. There are light creases and a few spots of toning on the reverse, none of which detract from the incredible display value. This is a superb real-photo team postcard, a rarity with a noteworthy distinction. 5.5 x 3.5 inches. Reserve $100.
